Lexi has built both iOS & Android Mobile APPs each with several man years of development behind them. Lexi Mobile APPs come with both a Light & Dark version which you or your customers can select as their preference.
Lexi will gladly Co-Brand the Mobile APPs with your or your OEM customers brands and logos. Because of the Social Sharing and our Marketplace, which generate huge network effects for all Lexi users AND LED Manufacturers, Co-Branding is a better option than White Labeling.
In many ways, the Smart Home will be ultimately driven by Data, Reporting & Analytics. Lexi enables you and your customers to get ahead of that curve. The firmware on our PCBs & Wireless Modules are all linked to our Cloud APP (through the optional hub). Your users and/or your OEM customer's users will be able to easily monitor their light & energy usage from the Cloud APP or in the Mobile APP as well. The Cloud APP is also another interface for Social Sharing and the Marketplace. The Cloud APP provides tools that are not available on the Mobile APPs because of interface and usability constraints.
Lexi will also Co-Brand the Cloud APP for you as well.
We have made all our functionality available via APIs. You can elect to make your own Mobile APP that interfaces with the firmware on the wireless modules we provide to you. Or build your own cloud reporting system. We support interoperability and your ability to construct new or additional functionality on top of Lexi to meet your own needs. Smart Home security is a big deal. The most important subsystem within Lexi is the Hub & Lights. Each Lexi customer is protected using a network key unique to every hub. When the Hub is installed, a unique network key is created and every device added subsequently uses this network key. This makes the system secure as no one can get access to this key.
Our cloud servers are secured using industry standard security measures like firewalls, private networks, key based authentication, code encryption, error handling, Public key infrastructure and SSL/TLS encryption. We also monitoring our infrastructure and conduct security audits using the industry leading security tools. For Api access we use OAuth 2.0.
Lexi has deployed a scalable architecture utilizing the same design concepts utilized for building Saas (Software as a Service) apps.
We employ load balancers, have a tiered architecture, use stateless servers, run tasks in the background, employ several different types of caching techniques, and have auto-scaling in place to handle spikes in traffic.
